The book presents the technical characteristics of optical glass - the types of glass, their catalog data, construction, refractive and transmission properties and the effect on them of electric, magnetic, mechanical and laser high power. The groups of glass - filter, silica, halide, chalcogenide, technical and devitrification are discussed. Standardized criteria for assessing glass quality are presented.
