LOOP MODULE FOR RAILWAY MAKEUP - PLATE AND PROGRAMMED LAYOUT
Rail modelers know well the problems with the construction of loops and triangles on mockups. The problem is power supply - the left rail passes - after defeating the loop - into the right one, which leads to a short circuit. Of course, this problem can be solved through so-called the third rail only how to relate such a track to reality? !!!
In systems supplied with analog voltage, the solution is the use of a rectifier bridge. The problem is DCC digital power supply. One of the methods is to supply the separated path section with constant voltage. We lose the possibility of precise control of the locomotive and its additional functions. This problem can be eliminated by executing and installing a special loop control module on the model. It detects the entry or exit of the model from a separate section and switches the power supply accordingly, however, so that there is no short-circuit that may jeopardize the operation of the entire model.
The device is particularly recommended for rail modelers; for building mockups
