The device can be used as an unusual electronic lock. It is also an educational toy and an example of an interesting work principle. Of course, the lock can work with different types of actuators.
To open the lock, put in a slot located, for example, on the door of a protected room, a special key - a tiny plate with two contacts - pins, and then press the button. The system will check if the elements set in the key are correctly selected and will unlock the executive system. The pattern is a combination of two resistors and a capacitor, and a chance to make a simple electronic way of 'pick-up' - a small one. This is due to the analog character of the lock's work.
