This project shows how modern electronics help a chemist. The device is used to measure the concentrations of colored substances or those that have colored reaction products. The phenomenon of selective absorption (absorption) of radiation with a strictly defined wavelength was used. Its source in the present glass is the LED diode. In comparison to other sources, the spectrocolorimeter using it will have lower sensitivity and a smaller range of the linear relationship between absorption and concentration.
The device is especially recommended for inquisitive chemists-electronics
