The device is designed to check Nixie displays that experience their renaissance. These lamps are virtually unproduced, you can buy them in various bazaars and electronic exchanges. This involves the risk of money being spent on partially or completely unserviceable items.
The tester is equipped with a battery voltage converter so that the displays can be checked 'in the field'. The test consists in inserting the lamp into the stand and turning on the device. The built-in generator switches all displayed digits and symbols.
The device is especially recommended for electronics using Nixie lamps in their constructions
