A simple and universal charger for NiCd and NiMH batteries. The system uses a specialized integrated circuit U2400. It contains circuits that allow the battery to be completely discharged before charging. This allows you to completely eliminate the so-called 'memory effect'. The end of the charging process occurs after the time has elapsed or when the voltage on the batteries rises too much. The end of work will also take place in the case of a significant increase in cell temperature. After completing the main charging phase, the system goes into recharging mode with a small preservation current. The course of the whole process is signaled optically - lighting of appropriate controls.
The device is especially recommended for users of batteries made in NiCd and NiMH technology
