MICROPROCESSOR FREQUENCY METER 100MHZ - PROGRAMMED SYSTEM
The system is intended as a module for incorporation into any device or as an autonomous device for measuring frequencies from 1 Hz to 100 Mhz. It has a counting event counter built-in up to 64,000. The system provides automatic change of the frequency range measured. The alphanumeric LCD display used guarantees perfect readability of the given results.
The meter was built using the AT90S2313 microprocessor. The meter made using only this system would have a measuring range up to 5MHz. In most cases, hobbyists would consider such a range to be quite sufficient, but a simple prescaler was added to the system, made on two cheap TTL systems. This preskaler expands the measuring range of the meter to 100MHz.
