The consequence of continuous modernization of PCs are components which, however functional, no longer meet the requirements of the current day. These components include the CD drive. You can use it independently - in whole or remove stepper motors from it.
Kit is a proposal to use a computer CD drive like a music CD player. It is an additional driver communicating with the drive in the ATAPI protocol. In addition to the typical functions associated with playing music, the driver allows you to display song times, track numbers, etc.
The device is especially recommended for people who make audio equipment themselves and for whom it's a shame to get rid of a good CD drive
Selected parameters:
- controlling the player using a remote control operating in the RC5 code
- all common functions of audio CDs
- RTC clock - time and date displayed in stand-by mode
- displaying operating parameters - alphanumeric LCD display
- presenting the times and numbers of the tracks being played
- single-CD playback mode, random playback and continuous playback
- the ability to create your own playlist of songs
- possibility of cooperation with an attached preamplifier (optional)
