PANEL MULTIMETER

The meter is provided as part of the laboratory power supply. The system combines the functions of a voltmeter and an ammeter. Ideally suited as a voltage and current meter in all types of chargers. The measurement of the current is indirectly by measuring the voltage drop across the resistor connected in series from the negative side of the power supply.
The module should be powered by an external voltage source of 7 ... 12 V and a current capacity of 100 mA. After the power is turned on, a welcome screen appears on the display. After about 1 second, two values will be displayed on the screen:

• voltage on the load, expressed in Volts
• the intensity of the measured current, expressed in Ampere

The multimeter can be calibrated at any time. For this purpose you will need a correctly working voltmeter (multimeter) or a reference voltage source with a known value in the range of 2.5 ... 5 V.
