The device allows you to easily turn on by using a hand closer. The principle of operation is based on the measurement of capacitance, so unlike ultrasonic or optical sensors, the switch can be closed in a hermetic casing. The range is adjustable and is max 8cm. He successfully passed the tests with a gloved hand.
