USB / 1-Wire converter

Description

The module allows you to connect 1-Wire systems via the USB port. The sample application allows you to easily read data from the 1-Wire system, eg the address of the system or the temperature value, if a DS18B20 sensor is connected to the converter.

The converter has a 1-Wire interface and a UART interface from the built-in FT231XS. The OneWireViewer software, prepared by Maxim Integrated, allows you to download and display data on the chart. There are also other applications that offer additional features and more features. Before connecting the 1-Wire system, check the list of circuits supported by the DS2480B converter. It is also possible to mount a USB socket instead of a plug.
