ODROID-XU4

It is a computer with the Samsung Exynos5422 Octa processor based on the new Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP) technology, i.e. heterogeneous multiprocessor. The HMP allows you to use more power in Exanos 5 Octa if needed, thanks to the possibility of using all eight cores - in one moment (and not just four, as it was before). This means a significant increase in productivity.

ODROID-XU4 is a new generation of small sized computers that are more efficient and even more effective. Thanks to the free source of technical support available on the Internet, you can download different versions of Linux-based software, including the latest version of Ubuntu 15.04 and Android 4.4 KitKat, as well as the Lollipop 5.0 version.

Thanks to the eMMC 5.0, USB 3.0 and Ethernet Gigabit interfaces, the Odroid XU4 is distinguished by its high data transfer speed, which is extremely important in advanced computing processes performed on ARM devices. All this means that the user has access to a modern, improved computer, allowing for efficient system startup, web browsing, using the network and 3D games.

Odroid XU4 software is completely compatible with Odroid XU3 software! However, the Odroid XU4 is more compact, cheaper and has a wider application.

To upload the software, a Micro SD card or an eMMC module is required. It is recommended to use the eMMC module for faster booting, more efficient application startup, multitasking operations and more efficient data processing.

The set includes a cooling fan, which is mounted in Odroid. It rotates only when the CPU load is large and when the permissible temperature threshold is exceeded. As with most fans of this type, you can expect noise at work.
