EMC power supply and compatibility Modern electronic devices, especially those related to IoT, require a special approach to power management. This is connected not only with the requirements for the longest work on battery power, but also with the specificity of powered integrated circuits requiring sequencing of supply voltages. In September Practical Electronics we suggest solutions, describe what and in what situation you can use. From the tutorials, I particularly recommend - unfortunately, from the already ending cycle - an article on the subject of a quick study of electromagnetic compatibility of electronic devices using methods available in the workshop. It is worth checking the parameters of the device before we go to a certified laboratory with it. We started the cycle in EP 7/2016, and the articles themselves are available on our website, as well as in print and e-editions.

TSL2561 luminosity sensor is an advanced digital light sensor, ideal for use in a wide range of light situations. Compared to low cost CdS cells, this sensor is more precise, allowing for exact lux calculations and can be configured for different gain/timing ranges to detect light ranges from up to 0.1 - 40,000+ Lux on the fly.
