The keyboard was created for use in a stationary media player based on Raspberry Pi and the distribution of Openelec, which of course does not exhaust its applications. After software modification, it can be used as an interface for information kiosks and for many other applications where all 102 keys of a typical keyboard are not needed. An additional feature is the built-in infrared receiver (RC5) enabling control from a greater distance using a standard TV remote control.
