Electromagnetic compatibility As a result of the increase in the number of electrical and electronic devices, more and more is being said about electromagnetic compatibility. Unfortunately, the situation has arisen where the average electronics engineer building a device has no idea what standards he should comply with. Everyone knows that it should be safe for the user, but specifically which standards speak about it? Everyone also knows that it should function in a smooth way and not interfere with the work of other devices, but - again, the same question - which standards speak about it? Unfortunately, knowledge gained from school or university is not enough here. It is necessary to educate and this is to help, among other things, the March edition of Practical Electronics. In addition to useful articles and presentations related to this topic, in EP we also publish a list of most certified laboratories, thanks to which it is easy to find them to seek advice.
