A set with four IMX708 cameras with a resolution of 12 MP and an expansion module for Raspberry Pi, which allows you to simultaneously connect four cameras to a minicomputer. The sensor used has a 12 MP matrix and a lens with a 120° viewing angle. The module is connected to the evaluation set via a dedicated socket and FPC cable and uses the MIPI-CSI interface developed specifically for cooperation with cameras. The expansion module allows you to connect four cameras via MIPI connectors to one MIPI connector of the minicomputer. It has support for cameras up to 12 MP with a dedicated driver. Thanks to a common oscillator and I2C transmission, cameras are fully synchronized. The module significantly expands the capabilities of Raspberry Pi in the area of camera support. It will be used in projects using stereo vision, 360 cameras or advanced surveillance systems.
