The power splitter is a passive device designed to power several receivers from one voltage source with more power. The presented module is an adapter that allows you to connect a larger number of receivers to the power supply, which has only one connector to connect them. It can be used as branching power supply for sensors, CCTV cameras or LED strips from plug-in power supplies, but there is nothing to prevent it from being treated as a workshop instrument and used to branch power from a laboratory power supply.
