Description

Round base plate made of 3 mm thick acrylic with a diameter of 127 mm, designed for building compact mobile robots with differential drive. The RRC04A chassis is adapted for mounting Pololu micro metal gearmotors and 42×19 mm wheels using suitable brackets. Numerous holes and cutouts allow installation of controllers, sensors, and other electronic components in various configurations. Motors can be mounted on either side of the plate (top or bottom), allowing adjustment of the robot’s ground clearance. The design also enables the use of a ball caster as the third point of contact with the surface. The set includes two 1.6 mm thick transparent acrylic spacers intended for assembly without encoders.
