A surface-mounted loudspeaker (4 Ω, 10 W) in which the coil moves a special pad (rather than a diaphragm as in standard loudspeakers), which transmits vibrations to any adjacent surface. The device produces virtually no sound on its own, but when applied to a table, for example, it becomes very loud. It provides good sound quality. The transducer is equipped with an adhesive magnet that can be attached to the base.
