The STEVAL-MKI063V1 board is a complete demonstration platform for the LSM303DLH device — an integrated system-in-package combining a 3-axis digital accelerometer and a 3-axis digital magnetometer. The integrated interface processes data from the sensing elements and provides it as a digital signal for external applications. The board uses an ST7-USB microcontroller, which acts as a communication bridge between the sensor and a PC, allowing data visualization in a graphical user interface (GUI) or dedicated software. The platform enables testing of spatial orientation detection functions and applications such as eCompass.
