Description
The STTS22H precision digital temperature sensor module from ST Microelectronics is equipped with a Qwiic connector. Thanks to factory calibration, the sensor offers exceptional measurement accuracy across the entire operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, without the need for additional application-level calibration. The module allows users to configure its operation mode, offering a choice between different output data rates (ODR), including a one-shot mode. In this mode, the sensor consumes only 1.75 µA of current, making it perfect for low-power applications. Additionally, two different peripheral addresses can be set using a jumper on the back of the module. The sensor also includes an interrupt pin to notify the application when the temperature exceeds user-defined thresholds (high or low). Connecting the module is extremely simple thanks to the Qwiic system. The board has built-in 2.2 kΩ pull-up resistors for I2C communication.
