The AM2315C is an advanced packaged temperature and humidity sensor offering easy integration with microcontrollers thanks to its 2.5V-5.5V power supply and standard I2C interface, providing greater resistance to external conditions than typical SHT sensors, with measurement accuracy of ±2% RH and ±0.3°C
AM2315C is an advanced, enclosed temperature and humidity sensor from the manufacturers of the popular AM2315 model. Although externally it closely resembles its predecessor, inside it houses a much more modern AHT20 module. This sensor is characterized by universal power supply in the range from 2.5V to 5.5V, thanks to which it works perfectly with both 3 V and 5 V microcontrollers. Thanks to the standard I2C interface, it is extremely easy to use with Arduino and Raspberry Pi boards, which greatly facilitates implementation .
Although the AM2315C is not classified as a 'waterproof' device, its housing provides better protection in outdoor wind and rain conditions compared to regular on-board SHT sensors.
