DFRobot SEN0629 environmental module with a BME688 sensor enables precise measurement of temperature, humidity, pressure, and VOC, and supports AI-assisted gas analysis. Compatibility with I2C/SPI and broad functionality make it suitable for use in smart building systems, environmental monitoring, and industry.
The DFRobot SEN0629 environmental module with the BME688 sensor integrates temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, and volatile organic compound (VOC) measurement in a single compact MEMS system. It supports I2C and SPI communication (3.3 V only), ensuring convenient integration with platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, and ESP8266. Measurement accuracy of ±0.5°C (temperature), ±3% RH (humidity), and ±0.6 hPa (pressure) enables use in air quality monitoring systems, smart homes, industry, and environmental research.
The sensor supports AI-based gas analysis through integration with the Bosch BME AI-Studio tool and the BSEC2-Arduino library, allowing training of models for detecting specific gas profiles. The heating layer stabilizes VOC readings, minimizing environmental interference. The sensor is ideal for indoor air quality monitoring, weather stations, and gas leak detection systems.
