ST Microelectronics’ STTS22H digital temperature sensor module, featuring a Qwiic connector, offers accuracy from -40°C to 125°C without the need for additional calibration. The sensor consumes only 1.75 µA in single measurement mode, making it ideal for low-power applications, and additional features such as a configurable interrupt pin and the ability to select two I2C addresses increase its versatility. SparkFun SEN-21262
The STTS22H precision digital temperature sensor module from ST Microelectronics is equipped with a Qwiic connector. Thanks to factory calibration, the sensor offers exceptional accuracy across the full operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, without requiring additional application-level calibration. The module allows users to configure its operation mode, offering various output data rates (ODR), including a one-shot mode. In this mode, the sensor consumes just 1.75 µA, making it ideal for low-power applications. Four different peripheral addresses can be set using a jumper on the back of the module. Additionally, the sensor features an interrupt pin to notify the application when temperature thresholds (high or low) are exceeded. Connecting the module is simple thanks to the Qwiic system, and the board includes built-in 2.2 kΩ pull-up resistors for I2C communication.
