Description
The module with the MCP96L01 amplifier designed to work with a thermocouple of the K, J, T, N, S, E, B, or R type. It has a screw connection for connecting a thermocouple. Provides temperature measurement with typical accuracy of ± 2.0°C in the range of:
- K Type: -200°C to +1372°C
- J Type: -150°C to +1200°C
- T Type: -200°C to +400°C
- N Type: -150°C to +1300°C
- E Type: -200°C to +1000°C
- S Type: +250°C to +1664°C
- B Type: +1000°C to +1800°C
- R Type: +250°C to +1664°C
The MCP9601 has the ability to configure 4 temperature thresholds that trigger an alarm, so that the user does not have to read the temperature from the sensor continuously. It can work with systems with a working voltage of 3.3 V or 5 V, and communication is via the I2C interface (STEMMA QT connector).
