Module with MLX90614-DCI sensor for non-contact temperature measurement in the range from -70℃ to 270℃. I2C communication. DFRobot SEN0263
Module with MLX90614-DCI sensor for non-contact temperature measurement in the range from -70℃ to 270℃. The sensor uses infrared radiation and does not require direct touch. In addition, this measurement method allows for quick and accurate reading. The kit uses the MLX90614 infrared temperature measurement module. It measures surface temperature by detecting infrared energy and wavelength distribution. The infrared temperature probe consists of an optical system, photoelectric detector, amplifier, signal processing and output module. The optical system collects the infrared radiation in its field of view and the energy of the infrared radiation is converted into corresponding electrical signals. After processing by the amplifier and the signal processing circuit, the signal is converted into a temperature value. The MLX90614 is self-calibrating and has a low-noise amplifier integrated into the signal processing chip. The module can be used in medicine, environmental monitoring, home automation, automotive electronics, aviation and the military. The product wiki page offers a user manual and sample programs.
