Nano USB Mouse 14 × 25mm with 5-Way Control - Elecrow

Description

The compact USB mouse Elecrow Nano USB Mouse is built on a 14 × 25mm PCB with a direct USB connector. A 5-way directional control provides up, down, left and right cursor movement together with a center push function. Additional SW2 and SW3 buttons provide separate left and right mouse clicks.

Pressing the center of the directional control performs the same function as the left mouse button. Further tilting of the control changes cursor movement speed in two stages, allowing both precise positioning and faster pointer movement. Because directional movement is based on digital inputs, diagonal cursor movement is not supported.

The mouse uses standard system drivers and does not require dedicated driver installation. It can be used with compact PCs and single-board computers including Raspberry Pi. The compact format is suitable for systems where a conventional mouse would occupy too much space or cursor control is only occasionally required.

The control orientation can be configured when the device is connected to a USB port. To select the direction corresponding to upward cursor movement, hold the control tilted in the required direction while inserting the device into the USB port. The configuration is stored in Flash memory and remains active during subsequent use. The manufacturer specifies approximately 10000 configuration rewrite cycles.
