Uniwersalny lakier PVB 16 stosuje się przy ochronie przed korozją płytek drukowanych. Przezroczysta powłoka schnie bardzo szybko i odznacza się dobrymi właściwościami izolacyjnymi. Ponadto skutecznie zabezpiecza drukowane płytki przed powstawaniem prądów błądzących i zwarć. Lakier PVB 16 firmy AG Termopasty jest wykorzystywany także do izolowania kabli, przewodów, transformatorów wysokiego napięcia czy zwojów silników elektrycznych. Jest odporny na rozcieńczone kwasy, alkalia i czynniki atmosferyczne.
