The Bluetooth Stereo Amplifier Module allows for wireless music playback from your phone, tablet, or computer. The amplifier board provides excellent sound quality, is lightweight, and does not generate much heat, eliminating the need for a heat sink. This significantly reduces the factors to consider when designing custom enclosures. The user has access to a single on/off switch. The board is equipped with LEDs and sounds that indicate status, such as pairing status. The kit comes with two 3W speakers that have loose wires already connected to them, ending with a very practical JST connector that fits directly into the board. The speaker enclosures measure 67 x 67 mm and have mounting holes in each of the 4 corners. Additionally, the board has 4 mounting holes, allowing for secure attachment of the board in custom-designed enclosures.
The first time the board is powered on, it automatically enters pairing mode and will be visible to nearby compatible devices, appearing as R001. Once the Bluetooth amplifier is paired with a device, it will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device upon the next power-on and will search for a new connection if that fails. To remove the connection between the Bluetooth amplifier kit and the source device, such as a phone, this must be done on the source device.
The stereo amplifier kit can be powered via a USB power supply (with USB-C cable), a LiPo battery (with JST connector), or via USB-C 5V from a computer. It is also equipped with a built-in LiPo battery charging circuit, suitable for various battery capacities, with automatic battery charging and switching between power supply and battery (when a battery is present). The board has a strict power supply voltage range of 3.2V to 5V and indicates low voltage levels to protect the connected LiPo battery from deep discharge. The nominal current draw for the board is approximately 40 mA when the board is on but not playing music and about 410 mA when playing music at maximum volume.
