An M12-mount lens with a fixed focal length of 35mm is used in vision systems that require a narrow field of view and observation of objects from a greater distance. The 8° field of view allows precise framing of the scene, which is applied in monitoring, visual inspection, and projects requiring significant image magnification.
The lens design is adapted for use with sensors in the 1/1.7" format. The included adapter allows the M12 lens to be mounted on the Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera equipped with a standard C/CS mount. This solution enables the use of compact M12 optics in applications based on the HQ camera without modification of the module.
The metal housing provides mechanical stability during operation in vision applications and prototyping environments.
