Description

How to test the carbon monoxide sensor

Place the CO sensor in the ziplock bag. Tighten the strings, leaving a centimeter opening through which to insert the specimen capillary tube. Do not remove air from the bag. Spray the agent for 3 seconds, then remove the tube from the bag and quickly tighten the strings until completely closed. The signaling of the sensor should turn on within 3 minutes. If the sensor alarm does not activate, repeat the test after 15 minutes. If after the next test, the sensor does not work, replace the device with a new one. The package is enough for about 7 tests. The sensors should be checked every 6 months.

How to perform a tobacco smoke detector test

Direct the capillary tube towards the sensor chamber, keeping a distance of 3-5 cm. Press the atomizer for about 1 sec. The signaling of the sensor should turn on in a few seconds.
