The Akyga AK-EC-20 charger is designed for charging electric vehicles in the United Kingdom and Ireland. It is equipped with a Type G (BS 1363) mains plug and a Type 2 connector (IEC 62196-2) compliant with the European standard. This single-phase device supports a voltage range of 110–250 V and enables charging with a current of up to 13 A, which corresponds to a maximum power of 3 kW. The charging current can be adjusted in three steps: 8 A, 10 A, 13 A.
The charger features a Controlbox with an LED display that shows operating parameters and charging status. A 5-meter cable ensures convenient vehicle connection regardless of socket location. The ABS housing and copper wire with TPE insulation offer resistance to damage and external conditions.
The IP54 ingress protection rating guards against moisture and dust, while built-in protection systems (OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP, SCP) ensure safe operation. The set includes a protective transport bag for easy storage and mobility.
