Description
Single-phase electric car charger with IEC 62196-2 Type2 plug, commonly called Mennekes. This type has been officially adopted by the European Union as the charging standard, which is why the vast majority of electric cars from European distribution have this type of socket.
The charger uses a 3-pin CEE connector, which allows the use of a high-current 230 V electrical installation. The device allows you to freely adjust the charging current and set one of the following values using the buttons: 6 A, 10 A, 16 A, 20 A or 32 A. The quality of the cables used guarantees a stable connection during charging with a power of up to 7.2 kW.
The charger is equipped with a 5-meter cable for convenience of use and an energy consumption meter that allows you to control the charging process and easy accounting when we charge the vehicle for someone else. The built-in LCD display indicates the operating status of the charger and displays current parameters such as charging current, mains voltage, charging power, total energy consumed by the device, charger temperature and charging time
.
The device is equipped with a number of safeguards to ensure the stability of the charging process, including protection against over-current, over-voltage and thermal protection. Thanks to a dedicated controller, the device regulates the parameters so as to maintain the optimal temperature during the charging process.
The charger module has a high IP54 tightness class, which guarantees protection against access and flooding of internal parts, and the cable material meets the UL94V-0 flammability class standard. In addition, the device is characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage (fall and pressure up to 2 tons).
On the back of the charger housing there is a hanging bracket, e.g. on a garage wall. In addition, a convenient transport bag has been included, which will help to keep order and ensure the safety of EV cables.
