Description
The Akyga AK-EC-18 charger is a single-phase device designed for charging electric vehicles equipped with a Type 1 (J1772) connector, commonly used in vehicles imported from the USA or manufactured for the North American market. The device provides a charging power of up to 3.8 kW at a maximum current of 16 A and voltage up to 250 V, enabling safe and effective vehicle charging from a household socket.
The charger is equipped with a ControlBox with an LCD screen that displays current charging parameters such as time, power, voltage, and temperature. The ability to manually adjust the charging current (8 A, 10 A, 13 A, 16 A) allows the user to adapt the device to the electrical installation conditions, increasing operational safety.
The high-quality 5-meter cable is terminated on one side with a Type 1 connector and on the other with a CEE 7/7 plug, ensuring compatibility with most home installations. The IP54 rating guarantees resistance to dust and splashes, and multiple protections safeguard the user and vehicle against overvoltage, overheating, overcurrent, or short circuits.
The set also includes a protective bag, making transport and storage of the charger easier, which makes it an ideal solution for mobile use as well.
