Description
Extruder controller with CAN communication dedicated to 3D printers. It is designed to work with type 36 stepper motors. The module is equipped with numerous functions that enable advanced monitoring and adjustment of the extruder's operation to various needs. It has a built-in TMC2209 stepper motor driver and an ADXL345 accelerometer that allows you to monitor the movement of the device. Thanks to the MAX31865 system, the controller supports both 2-wire and 4-wire PT100/PT1000 sensors, which allows for accurate temperature measurement during printing. BIGTREETECH EBB42 supports communication via CAN interfaces with the possibility of using a 120R termination resistor via a jumper. Additionally, an I2C interface is available to monitor the operation of the extruder.
The controller has numerous built-in protections, such as diodes to prevent reverse voltage and protection against reverse power connection, which ensures safe operation of the device, while the protection circuit on the thermistor guarantees accurate temperature measurement and increases the reliability of the extruder. The module has the ability to update the software in DFU mode via the USB port, which allows it to be adapted to new needs and introduce improvements.
