Description
The ELFIN EW10A-0 enables wireless integration of devices equipped with an RS-232 serial interface or an Ethernet port into a WiFi network. The device converts data from RS-232 or Ethernet into wireless communication, eliminating the need for additional cabling and simplifying system expansion.
This adapter allows legacy industrial equipment—such as controllers, meters, HMI panels, and measurement systems using RS-232—to be connected to modern IP-based networks and WiFi infrastructure. Data transmission can be performed using TCP or UDP modes, making integration with SCADA systems, BMS platforms, and IoT solutions straightforward.
Configuration of RS-232 communication parameters and WiFi network settings is performed via a built-in web interface, enabling quick setup and easy adaptation to specific installation requirements. The metal enclosure and wide operating temperature range make the device suitable for industrial environments, control cabinets, and technical installations.
The EW10A-0 model does not include a cellular modem and is intended exclusively for operation within local Ethernet and WiFi networks.
