Description

Gigabit Ethernet expansion module with RTL8211E-VB-CG chip (integrated Realtek Ethernet transceiver). It complies with 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000Base-T IEEE 802.3 standards and supports communication with the Ethernet MAC layer via the standard RGMII interface. The main purpose of using the RGMII interface is to halve the number of I/O to combine MAC and PHY. RTL8211E-VB-CG implements autonegotiation to automatically determine the best possible speed and mode of operation. It allows the use of direct connections or crossover LAN cables.
