Description
Gigabit Ethernet expansion module with RTL8211E-VB-CG chip (integrated Realtek Ethernet transceiver). It complies with 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000Base-T IEEE 802.3 standards and supports communication with the Ethernet MAC layer via the standard RGMII interface. The main purpose of using the RGMII interface is to halve the number of I/O to combine MAC and PHY. RTL8211E-VB-CG implements autonegotiation to automatically determine the best possible speed and mode of operation. It allows the use of direct connections or crossover LAN cables. The board is equipped with an FMC connector. Full documentation is available on the product page.
