Description

The PCA9555APW,118 from NXP is a 16-bit general-purpose I/O expander that communicates via I2C, serial, or SMBus interfaces. It offers 16 digital I/O lines, allowing microcontrollers to significantly expand their I/O capabilities. Integrated interrupt output (INT) enables event-driven designs by notifying the controller of changes on input lines without constant polling.
