COB LED DIY Kit for Seeed Studio XIAO is a complete lighting kit for DIY projects, designed specifically to work with Seeed Studio XIAO boards. The kit is based on a 7-channel control board that allows efficient management of GPIO currents, enabling control of a series of low-voltage, ultra-narrow 1 mm COB LEDs. With an integrated PMIC for battery management, the kit is ready to use in compact, high-brightness wireless lighting systems. The kit includes five different types of flexible COB LED strips, allowing adaptation to various projects and layouts. The control board offers 3 high-current channels (300 mA) for main lighting and 4 low-current channels (80 mA) for effects such as smooth dimming or “breathing,” providing full control over both primary light and dynamic effects on a single board.

The LED strips are made from flexible FPC and phosphor silicone, with an ultra-narrow 1 mm width, emitting 360° cool white light (6500K) with CRI>80, ensuring accurate color rendering and smooth, linear light. The kit supports both unidirectional and bidirectional projects – single terminals simplify installation in tight spaces, while double terminals provide uniform voltage and brightness distribution. Power can be supplied via 5V/1A USB connected to XIAO, and for full load, a 5V/2A wall adapter or 3.7V Li-Po battery is recommended. The board features a power switch, power LED indicator, battery connector, and Grove I²C connector. The kit is compatible with many XIAO models, including RP2040, RP2350, nRF52840, ESP32-C3/C6/S3, RA4M1, and MG24. It ensures safe LED current control, stable operation, and easy integration into DIY projects such as mini neon lights, saber lighting effects, artistic installations, or smart home lighting.
