Description
The INDX 8-Tool Conversion Kit for Prusa CORE One/+ expands a compatible 3D printer with a tool-changing system featuring eight independent passive tools. Each material follows its own filament path and uses a dedicated nozzle, making it easy to combine different filament types, colors, and nozzle sizes within a single print.
INDX Tool-Changing Mechanism
The kit includes the 8-Tool version, equipped with eight independent tools. It enables automatic switching between tools fitted with different nozzle diameters, seamless transitions between engineering, flexible, and support materials, and multi-color printing without manual tool changes.
Using a dedicated nozzle for each tool eliminates the need for a conventional purge tower and significantly reduces filament waste. The kit is compatible exclusively with Prusa CORE One/+ printers.
The video demonstrates the INDX system operating in the 8-Tool configuration.
The system simplifies multi-color and multi-material printing, models with soluble support structures, and projects requiring different nozzle diameters without interrupting the printing process. After installation, the available build volume is 248 × 205 × 270 mm.
