Description

Video Game Module is an advanced module, created in cooperation with Raspberry Pi, which offers a wide range of possibilities for electronics and robotics enthusiasts. This module uses the first microcontroller designed by Raspberry Pi - RP2040, the same one that is located in the popular Raspberry Pi Pico board. This microcontroller can generate a video signal, which allows the module to be connected to a TV using the Video Out port and mirroring the Flipper Zero screen.

Additionally, the module is equipped with a motion sensor, which can be used in both games and utility applications. Thanks to open software and schematics, users can customize the module to their needs and create new, innovative projects. The module's housing is made of the same plastic as Flipper Zero, which ensures an aesthetic fit and a solid connection of devices.

Video Game Module is an ideal solution for electronics and programming enthusiasts who want to expand the functionality of their Flipper Zero. Thanks to the possibility of connecting to a TV, games and applications become more interactive and engaging. The motion sensor adds a new dimension of control, allowing the module to be used in games and practical applications such as Air Mouse.

The module is compatible with many open-source projects for the Raspberry Pi Pico, meaning it can be used as a standalone device without having to connect to the Flipper Zero. Thanks to the GPIO, users can connect additional components and create advanced electronics projects.

Features

  • Microcontroller: Raspberry Pi RP2040, a dual-core ARM Cortex-M0+ processor clocked at up to 133 MHz
  • SRAM: 264 KB
  • Motion sensor: TDK ICM-42688-P, a 6-axis MEMS sensor (IMU)
  • USB Type-C port: Connects to the microcontroller, acting as a USB device or host, with the limitation of not supporting USB Power Delivery.
  • Video Out Port: DVI-D signal with a resolution of 640x480 px, 60 Hz, allowing the image to be displayed on most modern TVs and monitors.
  • GPIO Layout: 11 GPIO pins connected to the RP2040 microcontroller, two ground pins and one 3.3 V power pin, allowing the connection of additional components.
  • Buttons: Boot button, activating the bootloader mode for developers, and a reset button, allowing the hardware to be restarted.
