Description

The Teltonika RUT241 industrial cellular router provides cellular and wired connectivity for IoT, M2M, automation and distributed network installations. The router supports 4G LTE Cat 4 with download speeds up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds up to 50 Mbps, as well as 3G and 2G networks. A physical Mini SIM (2FF) slot enables access to cellular network services. Local connectivity is provided by WiFi 4 802.11b/g/n supporting up to 50 simultaneous clients and two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports - one WAN and one LAN.

The OpenWrt-based RutOS supports routing, load balancing, automatic WAN Failover, firewall, VLAN, VPN and hotspot functionality. Available industrial and IoT protocols include Modbus TCP, DNP3, DLMS/COSEM, OPC UA, BACnet/IP and MQTT. A digital input and open-collector digital output enable integration with automation signals, while Teltonika RMS provides remote device monitoring and management.

The router can be powered from 9-30 VDC or via 9-30 VDC passive PoE through the LAN port. Passive PoE operates in Mode B and is not compliant with IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at or 802.3bt standards. The aluminium housing with plastic panels, IP30 protection rating and operating temperature range from -40°C to 75°C allow the RUT241 to be used in telemetry, industrial automation, energy systems, transportation, monitoring and installations requiring primary and backup network connectivity.
