Qw/ST Pad is a versatile and compact input module, ideal for use with microcontrollers and Raspberry Pi boards. It features eight large buttons (U, D, L, R, A, B, X, Y), perfect for use as a game controller, and two smaller buttons (+ and -) for settings or additional functions. The module also includes four user-controllable white LEDs, which can be used to indicate the number of connected pads or act as visual indicators in games and applications. With two Qw/ST connectors (compatible with Qwiic/STEMMA QT), connecting the pad is simple – just plug it into any compatible board using a Qw/ST cable. The I2C address can be easily changed by cutting solder jumpers, allowing you to connect up to four pads simultaneously. The Qw/ST Pad comes fully assembled, requires no soldering, and is compatible with Raspberry Pi and Pico/RP2040 using ready-to-use Python and MicroPython libraries. It’s a great solution for DIY projects, retro gaming, and educational systems.
