WEP 872D is a 2-in-1 soldering station with separate control of the hot-air and soldering iron handles, offering a temperature range up to 480 °C and digital PID regulation. Thanks to compressor-based airflow, a wide selection of nozzles and tips, and an ESD-Safe system, it is suitable for electronics servicing, assembly work and SMT/BGA repair tasks.
The WEP 872D soldering station combines the functions of a hot-air iron and a soldering iron, enabling independent soldering and desoldering of components in BGA, SMD and THT technology. The hot-air handle is equipped with a spiral heater with a ceramic core and a type-K thermocouple, providing stable hot-air flow with smooth temperature adjustment in the 100–480 °C range. The airflow source is a compressor with up to 0.032 MPa pressure and 24 l/min output, ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation.
The 907A soldering iron handle (60 W), based on a 132A heater with a type-K thermocouple, supports 900M-type tips (over 90 available models). Both handles have independent regulation and digital temperature readouts on separate LED displays. The built-in PID system maintains temperature stability, and the automatic cooling function protects the hot-air heater after use. The station features a metal housing and meets ESD Safe standards, protecting electronic components from electrostatic discharge.
