Pololu 5657 is a breakout board for JST PH and SH 5-pin connectors with side-entry PH and top-entry SH. It allows easy integration of wires with 2.54 mm pitch systems, offering five-channel connections in a compact design with stable mounting capability.
The Pololu 5657 module allows connection of wires with JST PH 5-pin (2.00 mm pitch, side-entry) and JST SH 5-pin (1.00 mm pitch, top-entry) connectors to prototyping boards and breadboards with 2.54 mm through-holes. Both connectors are wired in parallel, enabling the board to function as a PH-to-SH adapter or as a breakout supporting both connector standards.
The PH connector supports currents up to 2 A, while the SH connector supports up to 1 A. The side-entry PH design routes wires parallel to the PCB, making it suitable for low-profile devices. The board includes two mounting holes for M2 or #2 screws, allowing secure installation in target devices. The module is useful in systems requiring five-channel power or signal connections, such as sensors, communication interfaces, and controllers.
