Description
The LED Module is an ideal solution for low-power lighting applications, such as desk lamps. Its compact size and simple layout make it an excellent choice for creative lighting enclosures. The LED module board features a micro USB power connector and is designed to meet the USB port power standards of computers, drawing less than 100 mA. This makes it highly convenient to power the module — simply connect it to a computer, laptop, or a suitable power adapter. The PCB board measures approximately 53.5 mm in length and 8 mm in width and includes one mounting hole.
One end of the module includes a power switch and the other end houses the micro USB power connector, making it easy to integrate into various projects. The switch located at the end of the board allows simple on/off control of the LEDs. Additionally, there’s an option to connect an external switch in parallel with the onboard switch, enabling remote placement within an enclosure. The board includes pads where the remote switch can be soldered. When using a remote switch, the onboard switch should be set to “Off” for proper operation. The Kitronik LED Module with a power switch is a great choice for anyone looking to create stylish, functional lighting in their projects, providing ease of assembly and use.
