A module containing 8 addressable RGB diodes of the WS2812 type, integrated with LED controllers, enabling precise control of the color and brightness of each diode individually. The diodes are placed on a single-sided printed circuit board in a linear arrangement with a 2.54 mm raster, facilitating assembly on a breadboard or soldering into a prototype system. Communication with the module is carried out using a single-line digital interface, which allows for serial connection of many modules. Thanks to the use of a serial bus and the possibility of transferring data from one diode to another, it is possible to expand the lighting installation without increasing the number of signal lines. The 5 V supply voltage allows direct cooperation with popular microcontrollers, such as Arduino, ESP32 or Raspberry Pi. The module is used in decorative projects, LED indicators, dynamic light effects and information systems based on color signaling.
