Description

The OV9782 Camera Module is a solution designed for applications that require high-quality images with minimal latency. It features a color sensor with a global shutter, allowing for distortion-free images. The camera offers a 1 MP resolution (1280x800) and is ideal for real-time image processing applications such as video analysis, surveillance, or AI-based systems. The sensor's field of view is 89.5° (DFOV), 80° (HFOV), and 55° (VFOV), providing a wide range suitable for various applications. A key advantage of this camera module is its ability to operate at very high speeds. The sensor supports resolutions such as 1280x800 at 129 FPS, 1280x720 at 143 FPS, and 640x400 at 255 FPS, making it perfect for applications that require rapid image capture in high resolution. The module supports MIPI 2-lane, and the FFC connector makes it easy to connect to other components.

Thanks to its built-in Image Signal Processor (ISP), the camera supports advanced 3A algorithms, including Auto Exposure, Auto White Balance, and Auto Focus, ensuring optimal image quality in various lighting conditions. It also allows for manual adjustment of exposure, gain, and white balance. In manual mode, the camera supports a minimum FPS of 1.6, a minimum exposure time of 10 μs, and a maximum exposure time of 1/FPS (e.g., 33 ms at 30 FPS). In automatic mode, the minimum exposure time is 20 μs, and the maximum exposure time depends on the Anti-Banding mode, which reduces flickering in artificial lighting. In Anti-Banding OFF mode, the maximum exposure time is 33 ms, at 50 Hz it is 30 ms, and at 60 Hz it is 25 ms. The OV9782 camera is an excellent choice for applications requiring high-quality real-time image capture with minimal delay and extensive image customization options.
