Description
The OAK-FFC IR module is designed for infrared (IR) illumination and laser dot projection, significantly enhancing the capabilities of devices like the OAK-FFC-4P (version R5 or later). This module enables advanced functionalities such as night vision and improved depth perception in challenging visual conditions. The integrated IR LED (SFH 4715AS) ensures the capture of clear images in low-light or no-light environments, making it perfect for night vision applications. The IR laser dot projector (BELAGO 1.1) provides laser dot projection to improve depth perception, especially on surfaces with low visual contrast or no texture.
The module is equipped with an FFC connector, allowing for easy integration into existing systems and providing flexibility in mounting options. The OAK-FFC IR is an ideal solution for applications requiring advanced machine vision, such as monitoring systems, robotics, autonomous systems, and IoT applications where accurate depth perception and visibility in challenging lighting conditions are critical.
